Bravehearth is a film, that tells the history of William Wallace, in the 1280 dC., in Scotland:

The king of Scotland had died without a son, then, the England's king (Edward, the Longshanks) is a cruel pagan. Scotland nobles, fought for the crown, but Longshanks invite the nobles for a truth.
William's father dies in a fight, and then, in a dream, his father talks to him: "Your hearth is free, have the courage to follow it". He said it, because William's uncle, had to take William with him, but William didn't like it, but finally follows it.
Then, William's uncle, teaches him; "First, learn to use the mind and the hearth, then I gonna teach you, to use the sword".

Then, the king of England son, marries King of France's daughter, but, they weren't in love.
The primae nuck (a law that tells that, the farmer that marries another farmer, she had to stay
the first night past the marry, with the noble of the land that they're living). The king of England do it because he likes, that, the Scotish nobles enter in conflict, and then he could dominate the Scotish lands.

William comes back to his land, where he was staying when he was a child.
He mets his old friend "HAMISH", and a girld "MORRON", that they became in love, and they got marry in secret.

After that, the English Soldiers attacked Morron, and William defended her.
Finally, the English soldiers killed her, and William attacked the soldiers and the noble that had killed her.

Another farmers like to help William for his fight, and Robert Bruce (a Scotish noble), likes to help it too, but his father tells him to support William, with the north lands, but at the same time, his father likes to gain favour of the English king with supporting him, with the South lands, but, finally, Robert prefers to be with William.

Then, they do a war against England, and William wons. They won it, because all the nobles were together.

William became a noble, because he won the war. After that, he tells to the other nobles to stand together, and invade England, for the Scottish freedom.

The Scottish man invaded the city of York (North of England).

Then, the King returns of France, and he sends the princess, to negotiate with William, but he didn't like to negotiate, but at same time, he tells the true story to the princess.

The king sent the troops to Scotland, and the princess warns William.

The Scottish nobles like to be one, but one of the nobles, betray William.

Then the English killed William, and the Scottish lost the war, because they were unnumbered.
