Guillem's Portfolio

A man from Wisconsin, USA, is called the "TWINE BALL MAN". He started making this giant twinball in April 1979! It weighs 9000 kilogrammes and Jim says if it was unravelled it would be 1300 kilometers long. That's the distance from Paris to Athens.

Guillem: Where do you want to go on holiday this summer?
Adrià: Er, I know, let's go North Pole.
Guillem: North Pole? I'd rather go Sahara's desert.
Adrià: But it's hot there. Why can't we go the North Pole?
Guillem: We could stay in a hotel under the sand.
Adrià: No, I don't like that idea.
Guillem: Well, how do you fancy staying in a hotel made of ice?
Adrià: Yes, that's a great idea. We've never stayed in a hotel made of ice!

Adrià: Hey Guillem. Are you OK?
Guillem: No, I don't feel very well.
Adrià: Why, what's wrong?
Guillem: I've got a headache.
Adrià: Have you taken an aspirin?
Guillem: Yes, I have but I still feel terrible.
Adrià: Well, you should tell the teacher.
You really shouldn't do P.E.!
Guillem: Yes, I suppose you're right.
